Yum Yum: Hummus

Or as I call it:  Angela's Hummus.  I still haven't made it as good as she does but it is great recipe.  I do typically cut it in half

  • 2 cups canned chickpeas, drained (save some of the liquid)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 TBS fresh lemon juice (2 lemons)
  • 8 dashes Tabasco
  • 1/5 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup tahini
  • 2 TBS water or chickpea liquid
Put in food processor until course

I will typically add more liquid until I like the consistency
