Wedding Party Gifts

Wedding Party Gifts

I have had quite a few orders requesting cups for Wedding Parties.  This one was for the Mother of the Groom.  I also did cups that had the wedding details (place and date).

What a great idea, that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.  I get so many ideas just from the people asking me what options they can have.

Easter Shirts 2012

I love this year’s Easter shirts that I made for the girls.  I also made some for my nephews and can’t wait to get a picture of all of them together.  I saw these shirts someplace and just traced them in the Silhouette Studio software.  If anyone wants the .studio file, just leave me a comment with your email address and I can send it to you.

Luckily they also fit into last year’s shirts so we have 2 shirts for this week.

Dog Silhouette Cup

There are quite a few passionate dog lovers out there.  I made this cup as a gift for friends who had Dobermans and the shirts below were for my nephews that have a schnauzer.  I found some great clip art that has almost every breed. I would love to make one for my Sadie but she is too much of a mutt to match any of the pictures.

boymom acrylic cup/tumbler

girlmom acrylic cup/tumble

I had never heard of boymom but I guess there is a brand out there just for mom's of boys.  My friend ordered these cups for friends who are pregnant with their second boy or second girl.  I thought it was adorable.  I love being a girlmom!!!

Lace Circle Shirt

I am loving my lace shirt. I have this pinned in my To-Do board and believe it or not, I actually did it. there is a great tutorial on Potholes and Pantyhose.

I made a few changes:
  • First, I got my lace from Good will.  It was actually a curtain.
  • I didn't do the measurements she said.  I just wanted to make sure it came down to my waist so I took that measurement and then made a circle.
  • I also added the lace at the bottom.  I wear a black shirt under it so I think it ties it together nicely.
It is a great shirt that can go casual or dressed up.  I wear mine with jeans a lot but could also wear it to work with a pencil skirt.

And, the today show said how much lace was in right now.

Featured for my Stationary

Monogram personalized Stationery

As I have stated before, I am always amazed when other people like my products.  Of course, I think I have great products but for other people to also like them is so flattering.

I was approached a while ago asking if they could feature my product (something I need to be better at before I blog about something) and looky here - a post about me

Valentines Towel

I got out my Valentine's decorations and started putting them up.  I love the towel that I made last year.  This was when I was just getting use to my Silhouette machine.  I definitely think I am going to have to make another one this year.  Stay tuned....

A&M Acrylic Tumblers

My shop was super busy in December making Christmas gifts for everyone.  My girlfriend asked me to make some A&M cups for her.  I love how they turned out.  I know there is a copyright law out there somewhere but I modified the logo and am not mass producing so let's hope I don't get in trouble.  The trace function on the Silhouette machines means you can pretty much cut out anything you want.  Just put in the image and cut it on vinyl.  It's amazing what machines can do.

I know my in-laws would love these, should I already start planning for next year Christmas?

Personalized Cups

My new favorite craft, gift, and etsy item is personalized acrylic cups.  I use mine all the time and just made some for my girls that they love.  Even though the vinyl that I use says not to put it in the dishwasher, I put mine on the top shelf and it has been fine.

My girls just moved up classes so I made some for their former teachers who they loved.  What a great fun gift that everyone will love.

Boy Onesies

I think everyone who is pregnant right now is having a little boy.  After being surrounded by my girls for a few years, it has been fun making some boy items.  Check out the cute named onesies that I made for a friend's baby shower.  My sister-in-law hosted and used them as clothesline decoration.  I think they turned out so cute.

I sell onesises like this in my etsy shop, go check it out: http://www.etsy.com/listing/77754914/personalized-name-shirt-or-onesie-for

Imitation = Flattery: Hooded Towels

My girls have completely outgrown the infant hooded towels that we got as gifts when they were born.  I found this tutorial to make some and thought I would give it a try.  I LOVED them and so did the girls.  They are definitly going to be my go-to gift for toddler birthday parties.

Modeling her new towel
The tutorial came from a great blog called Make and Takes, if you want to try it out yourself.  If you would rather just buy one, I am selling them for $20.  I can do a variety of colors and graphics (the same ones as a personalized shirt).  Just let me know what your little one likes and we can get a towel to match.
